From Lisbon via Berlin, Toada is on The MUSAR Show duty, serving a one-hour magical adventure of warm, emotive, dreamy and danceable electronic cuts, including some of his own material together with gems beyond the boundaries of club music. Dive in! 

Having been immersed in music creation since his teenage years in Lisbon, Toada intricate melodies combined with forward-thinking playful rhythms define the project, it is a unique musical venture providing a place where many influences meet to superb effect.

Earlier this year, Toada released his second album 'Acalenta' via his own label Plūma, 33 minutes of lighthearted, sizzling and simultaneously complex deep tunes aiming for a reinvigorating listening experience (we highly recommend to check it out!).

The MUSAR Show #57 - Toada

"Rebirth of the Cool" is a weekly Wednesday night residency at Habibi Downtown Tunis, hosted by Mariam KMS, music programmer of Whale City Radio and formerly artistic director and music programmer at Radio Misk, and Co-founder of Wild Bohemia Records.

This event dives into the world of iconic albums and their musical influence, blending a mix of neo-soul, hip-hop, acid jazz, old-school grooves, and global jazz. It's a sonic journey through different eras and styles, bringing an eclectic and soulful vibe to the audience.

Each session is a selecta, a jazzy world tour, where Mariam KMS curates selections that celebrate the evolution of cool in music, creating an immersive experience for music lovers. 🎷✨

Mariam KMS is a Tunisian artist passionate about blending musical genres and creating unique sonic worlds. With expertise rooted in electronic music, jazz, neo-soul, and acid jazz, Mariam stands out for her eclectic and avant-garde approach to music production.

As the Artistic Director and Music Programmer at Whale City Radio, she is dedicated to promoting the Tunisian alternative music scene while supporting local artists through bold projects and international collaborations. She continually explores new musical horizons, merging global influences with deep roots in the musical traditions of the MENA region.

Her career has been shaped by rich experiences in music project management and radio production, particularly at Radio Misk, where she coordinated shows focused on electronic music and alternative culture. Mariam also co-founded Wild Bohemia Records, a platform dedicated to nurturing emerging talent in Tunisia's vibrant music scene.

On SoundCloud, Mariam KMS invites you to explore her original creations, exclusive mixes, and collaborations with artists from both the local and international scenes. Her musical style is fueled by a love for sonic diversity and a desire to push the boundaries of contemporary electronic music.
