MARILL focuses on natural, groovy and crisp sounds in order to create a driving and hypnotic atmosphere, guiding the listener through a musical and emotional experience. 
With both of the Duo having had an upbringing with and close to music, they try to incorporate their knowledge;  translating it into creating mixes that hold powerful and continuously interesting soundscapes.
Performing, the Duo radiates an intangible yet contagious energy, creating a space for the audience in which they can lose as well as find themselves.

Despite having just recently formed the DJ Duo, MARILL has already played several gigs in Berlin: For example GQ Men of the Year, SUPPA - New Year’s Eve warehouse party and has most recently headlined at Cassiopeia Club Berlin in February 2024.

The techno duo is based between London and Berlin.

Hayes is an electronic music platform dedicated to Techno and experimental electronics. Based on a ceaseless sonic exploration, it embraces experimentation as a driving force for an artistic output devoid of prejudice. The resulting sound objects have their own imprint, an aesthetic defined by the position it intends to assume.
It presents itself as an artistic collective, record label, and curator, promoting art as a fundamental element of cultural incorporation and critical thought.

Ed's musical journey began early in his youth, attending various local raves in his home country, Malta. These early experiences ignited a profound curiosity and love for the underground scene, shaping his perspective on sound and deepening his appreciation for electronic music.

Whilst staying true to his musical roots, Ed continuously explores and refines his distinctive sound, delivering sets that are deep, rhythmic, yet groovy and powerfully energetic. His vision of techno is influenced by a diverse array of genres and artists, with notable inspiration drawn from techno titans such as DVS1 and Rødhåd, whose musical influences are clearly evident in the storytelling approach he brings to his sets today.

Though his primary focus remains on DJing rather than production, the art of crafting captivating DJ sets remains the driving force and heart of his musical journey.
