Another powerful release lands on the mighty British label NEIN Records: “Back On The Motorway” is the fruit of the interesting collaboration between none other than Montessori and Lusca (SXDNS216), two skilled and respected Mexican artists who decided to join forces for the first time ever to bring to life a couple of darkness-infused bangers. On the remix duty: Bucharest-based producer Valentin Gabriel Pandelescu aka Eddie Lanzat contributed with an exciting interpretation of the title track.

With recent appearances on HEARec, Nothing Is Real, and Play Pal Music, Montessori impresses with a refined ability of seamlessly gathering Alternative Rock, Post-Punk, and New Wave elements in his productions, while Lusca draws attention due to his more acid and intricate sonority whose result can be found on vital imprints such as Innisfallen, Golden Soul, and NEIN itself.

Eddie, in turn, joined the party with his characteristic cosmic/dark-matter-soaked favourite concoction – this time incremented with some Industrial garnishment to spice things up. His debut on Sir Neil Parnel’s roster couldn’t be more crowned, we dare say.

Mexican electronic music artist Pinto, a rapidly rising force and founding member of Vatos Locos, is set to release his "Talismán" EP on Duro Label on May 30, 2025. Known for his impeccable mixing technique, underground groove, and timeless style, Pinto delivers a four-track exploration of house that showcases his versatility and innovative sound.

The EP opens with the title track, "Talismán," a refreshing house cut designed for the dancefloor. It features vibrant keyboards, a playful bassline, and a stong rhythmic section. "Plastic City" follows, injecting a dose of energy with its tight bass, hypnotic and frenetic atmosphere, cowbells, alarms, and resonant leads.

The journey continues with Theus Mago's edit of "Ghost in a Box." The acclaimed Mexican producer infuses the track with his signature sound, characterized by a booming, dynamic bass, rolling rhythms, a slightly schizophrenic atmosphere, and ghostly keyboards. Rounding out the EP is Pinto's original mix of "Ghost in a Box," a powerful dancefloor weapon. Its solid drum work and potent bassline create a captivating sonic voyage through ghostly keyboards, cowbells, and echoes.

Pinto has cultivated a strong presence in the electronic music scene, holding a residency at Bar Américas since 2011 with his "Localafiesta" night and founding the artistic multiverse LAFT. His ability to weave eclectic narratives through his sets, spanning house and techno, has earned him international recognition. Pinto's impressive performance history includes appearances at renowned clubs such as Club Der Visionaere (Berlin), The Egg (London), and Bar Americas (Mexico). His discography spans esteemed labels like Body Parts, Vatos Locos, Deeperfect, and Nite Grooves.

The prolific Mexican label Duro kicks off the second half of the year with an explosion of rhythm and movement courtesy of the duo Factory Setup. Their highly anticipated EP, "Afrikka", lands on June 27, 2025, promising a deep dive into hypnotic grooves, and infectious percussions.

Factory Setup, the project born from the synergy of Joseeph and Zhino – both residents of Guadalajara's iconic Bar Américas. Their approach, which unearths forgotten gems from the late '80s, '90s, and 2000s and combines them with contemporary freshness, finds its ultimate expression in "Afrikka," a work celebrating the vibrant connection between Latin and African rhythms.

The sonic journey begins with "Afrikka (Original Mix)", which exposes the raw backbone of the groove, allowing the percussive mystique and captivating vocals to take center stage. This leads seamlessly into "Flow First (Original Mix)", a hypnotic cut that maintains its intoxicating essence by stripping away the piano, revealing a deeper, constant pulse that ensnares you in its wave.

Adding an unyielding dimension, the EP includes the "Flow First (Hardvard Bass Remix)". With solid drums and demented synthesizers, Hardvard Bass constructs a sonic voyage where a booming bassline guides you through a shower of synths. It's a tech house-oriented track that pushes the energy to new limits, perfect for the dancefloor's most intense moments.

Next, the energy ignites with "Afrikka (Stab Mix)", a pure Latin house anthem that transports you directly to a sun-drenched dancefloor. Its ancient African percussions fuse with psychedelic vocals and an insistent, rhythmic stab, creating a groove you simply won't want to stop. The EP then beautifully circles back with "Flow First (Piano Mix)", where a playful array of drums and percussions intertwines with a piano that simply invites you to move, as soothing vocals envelop you in a rhythmic spiral, lifting both soul and body in an uninterrupted dance.
