It is counter-propaganda, the expression of the violence generated by the systematic injustice of successive civilizations. It is criticism until rejection, the proposal of the extreme opposite of what we know today, as a response, an overload of the opposite balance. Fascinating, terrifying or seductive but just as unfair as the current dogma, always far from nuance but perhaps unfortunately necessary to find balance one day...
A few lines of thought to try to explain the intentions of this music, which, I hope, will better translate into notes the feelings described above.

I’ve been seriously obsessed with this song by Jeanne Added, I just can't get it out of my head. I've been listening to it on repeat for months and singing it all day long in three different styles: mentally when someone is within 3 meters, humming when people are around but not too close, and singing my lungs out when I’m alone in the house or car. Or at least when I think I am…

One day, I parked at the supermarket and wouldn’t get out of the car until the song ended. I was singing out loud with way too much passion and wild body language when I realized someone was parked next to me, laughing his head off at the spectacle! 

After many tries and retries, I finally managed to get this cover done. Now I can finally move on with my life… :) Thanks for listening! (hope with headphones)

The details behind this one are in Josh's excellent write up below, but I wanted to say thanks again to Josh and Ken for taking the time to contribute to this one.

This song began with Stephen and his friend and bandmate, Quanah Stewart who also sings this version, and who wrote the lyrics. They were in a band together for about 7 years in the early 2000s. When the band broke up, they went many years without playing together. Until, in 2018 Stephen started his TexMex shaman project and this was one of the first songs he wrote.  Quanah had moved to Austin in the meantime but on a visit back to Dallas, Stephen asked him to come over and add the vocal track you hear on the song.  
 
Fast toward to 2024 and Stephen wanted to remix this along with a few other older tunes. He asked his good friends and teammates Ken and Josh if they’d like to help, and of course, they were super enthusiastic.  This is what he had to say about the finished product. "Their parts blew me away.  Beyond what I expected and it made it a whole new song.  Very grateful to them both for their time and talent." As are Ken and Josh very grateful to Stephen for sharing his awesome rocker with us.  

The title comes from trying to think of the stupidest song title Stephen could come up with, on a bet. And it’s close. 

  Of course, Stephen did the honors of mixing and producing it. Ken and Josh had a lot of fun bringing this song back to life with him, whose creativity and skill are unparalleled. We all hope you (and Quanah) enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed creating it.

This track is a little nuts.....

If you've ever battled a raccoon, this is the song for you, sung from the perspective of the perpetrator. Raccoons are wily little buggers and more than a little guile is needed to control the movements of an animal that has been trapped in a cage before.

Debated with myself a bit on adding more instruments and sounds but in the end decided that less was more. The "rhythm guitar" is a distorted saturated synth and the "lead" is a Logic Pro Heavy Metal guitar manipulated with the pitch stick on my synth. The difficult part was getting the swing on the drums right and the ADSR right on the main synth, modulation and LFO. Also played a bit with the compression to get a breathing sound.

About the raccoon - that battle is ongoing - physical deterrence is now in place.

The raccoon, also spelled racoon and sometimes called the common raccoon or northern raccoon to distinguish it from the other species, is a mammal native to North America. It is the largest of the procyonid family, having a body length of 40 to 70 cm (16 to 28 in), and a body weight of 5 to 26 kg (11 to 57 lb). Its grayish coat mostly consists of dense underfur, which insulates it against cold weather. The animal's most distinctive features include its extremely dexterous front paws, its facial mask, and its ringed tail, which are common themes in the mythologies of the Indigenous peoples of the Americas surrounding the species.
