Kolbrin Adventures

Like the tides of the oceans, human existence is in every way a cycle. There are ebbs and flows. Sometimes obstructions can cause eddies and redirection of that flow.  The morning drive to work on the freeway is like the incoming tide, while the drive home in the afternoon is the outgoing tide. We've all experienced the frustration of being stuck in traffic, our nerves frayed, sometimes tempers are short, the anxiety, the stress, the fear of being late for work compels us onward through the morning traffic jam. Our very livelihoods are at stake, we could have our pay docked for missing time, or we could face the stern admonishment of our boss, or . . .we could even be fired for tardiness. The drive home is no less hellish, for our daily labor has drained our spirits, our energy. All we want to do is to get home. This short musical adventure is an attempt to convey, in a happy and whimsical fashion, the feeling of being stuck in traffic.
