• Those who prefer to follow what their forefathers were upon instead of the revelation which was sent down to the Messengers.

• Many have taken to just reading the Qur'ān for its reward only, without reflecting and pondering over it.

• What is the purpose behind seeking knowledge?

• From the means of obtaining the love of Allāh is reciting the Qur'ān with reflection. 

• The Qur'ān is a protection, a guidance, a barrier, a light, a cure and a mercy.

• The true objective behind the recitation of the Qur'ān.

• Fudālah ibn ‘Ubayd (d. 53 AH) said: If I only knew that Allāh had accepted from me a single good deed equal to a mustard seed, it would be more beloved to me than the whole world and everything in it.
