Hello, Earth.
Addiction is a terrible thing. The modes all vary, but in some sense - they're all the same. 
Something captures someone, pulls them in, and makes them numb to everything but the high - and even that is fleeting. 
The relationships built in that environment are not built on solid foundations, they'll leave you all alone. 
I hope those that need help seek help. Help is not given for those that are afflicted, it's sought by the afflicted.
