04 - Palabras De Papel

This release is a little different from my usual line, results from an obvious folk influence and turns around quite dreamy lyrics and romantic musical arrangement. The mood of this song is about allowing yourself to imagine another life, feel another world, transform one another and, by embarking this imaginary journey, actually just to be. A 3:15 minutes glimpse to a lifetime voyage towards an untethered soul…

Realizing this song brought me a very nice surprise in the form of a pleasant new collaboration. The lyrics required a female voice and I had difficulties finding the ethereal but not immaterial one I had in mind. The challenge persisted for a couple of weeks until I got in touch with Hana Pavšič - the talented Slovenian artist who covered this song with her beautiful voice and brought the extra touch to it, giving it this enchanted atmosphere I was after for this Magic spell.

Magic spell

Stare at a half-frozen lake for two weeks waiting on snow, and this is what happens

Voici ma quatrième création (remix) en collaboration avec le 'Channel Musicon'. Pour cette fois, en entendant la magnifique voix de Fabian Cleveland (Cleve),  j'ai décidé de faire un voyage en Jamaïque et de créer un reggae relax. Les artistes présents sur cet enregistrement sont Marie-Christine Tremblay aux back vocals, Pierre Larouche au piano, Alain Picotte à la contrebasse et moi-même à la guitare. Le tout encore superbement mixé et masterisé par Martin Larose au studio Septentrio.  Bonne écoute!

Here is my fourth creation (remix) in collaboration with 'Musicon Channel'. For this time, hearing the beautiful voice of Fabian Cleveland (Cleve),  I decided to take a trip to Jamaica and create  relaxed reggae. The artists on this recording are Marie-Christine Tremblay on the back vocals, Pierre Larouche on the piano, Alain Picotte on the double bass and me on guitar. All still superbly mixed and mastered by Martin Larose at Septentrio studio.  Good listening!

The Raw Energy album original release date 5/10/2020 remastered with the addition of six more tracks from the ep version, plenty of smoking heavy power chords and riffing with blazing leads, powerful bass and drums, hidden gems throughout from start to finish.  Mixed and mastered by me EH.  I like to mix and master to present things but some songs/albums I will have a professional mix and master, stay tuned for this album and many others to be remixed and mastered by a professional, thanks for listening!
