Darren Daz Dalton aka one half of dj duo Get Down Edits & the man behind all the Get Down Edits production work has been a music lover since his early teens & began collecting Vinyl back in 95 at the tender age of 15 by the time he hit 17 he was out playing gigs in bars & clubs in his native Waterford City & has been djin ever since, 
Over the years he has supported or played beside international djs like Kenny Dope (MAW), 
Kerri Chandler, Chez Damier, Greg Wilson, DJ Deep, The Revenge, Atjazz & Charles Webster to name a few & as part of Get Down Edits alongside dj partner Martin Roche has 
been doing the festival and international circuit with great reception playing some incredible events including the famous Glastonbury in 2016, Electric Picnic, Body & Soul, Electric Elephant in Croatia, the House of Disco Warehouse Project Takeover in London, and so on. Summer 2017 saw Get Down Edits playing as part of the Glitterbox Ibiza family alongside huge names like Dimitri From Paris and Aeroplane at the incredible Hi Ibiza venue and Defected Croatia at The Garden in Tisno, they also went onto to play Suncebeat Croatia,
Production wise Darren grew a curiosity & interest in how the records he was playing were put together very early & started doing edits for use in his own dj sets back 2001,
It was years later before the whole edit scene emerged & he was drawn to it straight away & under the advise & encouragement of Greg Wilson set up Get Down Edits the record label in 2011, since then the labels put out 6 vinyl releases which included his own edit work along side guest producers like Late Nite Tuff Guy, Deep & Disco (JKriv), Fingermann, LTJ as well as releasing with other labels including Disco Deviance, Editorial, Samosa Records, Glenview Records, Daje Funk, Queen & Disco, Wall Of Fame, Masterworks Music, Nang, Paper Disco, Hot Digits, File Under Disco, Re-Loved, Golden Soul, Slighty Transformed, Hotbox Boogie, Reckless Records, Deep Sense, Alpaca Edits, Unkwn Records, Ism Records, Elevation Recordings & Midnight Riot.
Darren has also been busy with remix work & has remixed for artists like Funk My Jesus, Nine Lives, Heion, Slync, JMRS, Darran Nugent, Oh Yeah, JFunc, Stephen Richards, Smashed Atoms, JB Dizzy, Jay Ru, Fran Deeper & Rayko, Soopaman inc feat Andre Espeut, JKriv & The Disco Machine As well fellow Irish artists & acts like Le Galaxie, King Kong Company, Kormac, Danny G & The Major 7th`s & Peter Vogelaar as well as written some original pieces of his own including “Sweet Love” where he teamed up with two piece Irish electronic act Cut Once which got released with a serious of remixes from Mix & Fairbanks, Fingerman, Jay Ru, Micko Roche,

Biography:

Manu Gonzalez is one of Ibiza’s rare homegrown talents making a true
mark on the global electronic music scene. Recognized internationally when
he won Best Ibiza DJ at the DJ Awards at just 25, Manu has since built a
career that bridges the island’s underground roots with the world’s biggest
stages.
From his early days at the legendary Delta Record Store working selling
vinyls to all the headliners & resident DJs coming to Ibiza, to performing at
iconic clubs and festivals such as ANTS at Ushuaïa, Hï Ibiza, Amnesia, Fabric
London, Blue Marlin, Pacha Barcelona, Egg London, DreamBeach Festival,
IMS, Gospel New York, Factory Town Miami or Weekend Beach, to name a
few, Manu’s trajectory reflects both credibility and consistency.
As a producer, his releases on respected labels including Moon Harbour,
Knee Deep In Sound, and Nervous Records (NYC) have earned support
from industry heavyweights like Paco Osuna, Marco Carola, Loco Dice, and
Pete Tong, with frequent airplay on BBC Radio 1. In 2019, he launched his
own label and events brand, Question Reality, quickly gaining traction with
chart-topping releases and hosting names such as Steve Lawler and Hot
Since 82.
Recent years have seen Manu cement his international reputation with a
residency at Hï Ibiza alongside The Martinez Brothers and Paco Osuna, for
Paco’s brand Now Here, aswell as tourong the world for the brand itself, he
frecuently has standout performances at Defected Ibiza, Ushuaïa’s ANTS,
Club Chinois, Ministry of Sound London, Gospel New York, 102 Club in
germany, Womb Tokyo, combined with long South America tours in
different countries.
With unstoppable momentum, 2025 has been so far an incredible year for
MG, playing alongside Kerri Chandler or Honey Dijon at Club Chinois,
continuing with his Ushuaïa & Hï special performances alongside releases
such as “Lost In Space” on BBCRadio1 Danny Howard’s record label. Manu has just made just iconic Space Mami terrace debut in November 2025 ( set uploaded on soundcloud ) and has confirmed performances before the year ends in New York, Switzerland, Barcelona, Madrid & Los Angeles.
