This year we're taking a regular opportunity to go back to Back to the Future Part II, the 1989 movie about time travel that jumps forward to 2015. One piece of technology predicted in the movie is a sleep-inducing alpha rhythm generator. In the real world of 2015 we've got tons of stuff to supposedly help us get to sleep. Masks. Drugs. Hypnosis. But what about a device that could actually induce sleep? Are we there yet? To find out, we talked with Sarah Lisanby, Chair of the Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences Department at Duke University.
