If you’ve been to a dance party in the last 12 months in Vancouver, chances are you’ve found yourself on one of Lerma’s dance floors. Her ability to navigate between house oriented genres, deep breaks / warehouse as well as more energetic peak hour is impressive to say the least and this mix is exactly that.

A Vancouver-based DJ and a dancefloor veteran, Lerma is always on a mission to deliver a new sound that will get people moving. Her deep connection to underground music, cultivated from her early days in Russia frequenting House, DNB, and RnB nightclubs. Those early days had a tremendous influence on her electronic music taste and record collecting habits over a decade which cultivated her eclectic flavor before learning to DJ in 2020.

Instantáneamente cuando escuché la versión original de Tanya Loca las vocales me transportaron a un lugar nostálgico y me imaginé que podían ser parte de un track formato pista. Justo venía buscando ocupar el espacio de cierre para el Live Set que vengo tocando durante 2025 y probé las vocales con una base Breakbeat y la composición general salió así rápido en 2 semanas. Me gusta mucho el resultado y lo que genera esta canción que ya de por sí tiene una carga emocional muy fuerte. Espero que lo disfruten :))

An original raver, Mark began DJing in 1986. He started playing raves in Toronto back in 1994. Mark Grimace was part of some of the city’s most legendary original rave crews, playing everything from warehouse parties and festivals, to the city’s best clubs. Mark has also toured extensively across North America. His journey has had him sharing the stage with some of the scene’s earliest pioneers and biggest stars. 

In 2016 Mark and his family relocated to Winnipeg. He didn't skip a beat. Mark immediately became involved in Winnipeg's dance music community, both as a selector and facilitator.

Mark is just as active behind the scenes as he is behind the decks, helping bring people together to grow the community at large. Mark’s infectious energy captivates crowds wherever he goes. With over 30 years as an active and dedicated DJ, he's developed an eclectic style with top-tier technical ability. Mark's sets flow seamlessly from genre to genre, moving from broken beats to 4/4 and all points in between. Mark Grimace is as comfortable at a club or festival as he is playing at a dirty warehouse. A passionate ambassador of rave's roots music, “Mark's dedication to honoring the past while looking to the future create lasting, emotional experiences for the dancefloor. "
