This excerpt features percussionist Aaron Graham performing at a desk and drumming on a number of everyday items accompanied by a track of the composer's design. The work was presented in pitch black and Graham used a lamp on the desk to illuminate himself periodically.

Happy new year to everybody. The POOL Berlin wishes every single one of you health, safety, joy and love. No matter where the journey will take you, you have the power to make the most of it. Like Theodore Roosevelt once said: "Believe you can and you're halfway there."
 
The next chapter in our journey takes us deep into the realm of analog noises and magnetic fields. We invited Hainbach to create the first episode of POOLcast in 2019. Hainbach is known as musician, music technologist and YouTuber and provides us with a selection of unreleased material. In his pieces he mangles aggregators, transforms vivid rhythms to shaking grooves and mutates playful melodies to mesmerizing scapes. Good foundation for a proper winter couch voyage.
