Claxy, the Germany-based electronic duo formed by Brazilian couple Clara Valente
(vocals/keys) and Gui Gautreaux (percussion/programming), return with a warm
reinterpretation of their latest single, “Sugar For The Pill.”
This Afro Samba Edit infuses the track with rhythmic textures inspired by Brazilian percussion traditions, giving it a sunlit, organic groove compared to the original’s more introspective tone.
The drums bring a vibrant sense of movement and warmth, celebrating Claxy’s deep-rooted connection to Afro-Brazilian rhythms and Música Popular Brasileira.
Known for blending melodic organic house, dream-pop, and shoegaze atmospheres with bilingual (EN/PT) vocals, Claxy has earned recognition through releases on Natura Viva and Anjunadeep, and live performances at SXSW and across Germany.
