For the first time in three years, Markus Schulz was privileged to re-establish his special affinity towards the annual Amsterdam Dance Event through his anticipated open to close solo set experience at Melkweg - an event with a sold out attendance for a sixth successive outing. The World Tour features a 2 hour portion of highlights from the night for those who couldn't be there, and provides an opportunity for those who were to relive the magic again.

The X collaborative series continues, with Markus' latest contribution involving a reunion with an old friend in KhoMha, as they combine for Take Me. A Christmas Thanks - 4 Hour Set for End of Year Countdown 2022

Hello again, with the final of your holiday gifts. Since an early age, one of the biggest loves and passions in my life has been the radio. In particular, I was so moved by the period between Christmas and New Year, when suddenly what day of the week it is didn't feel important, and this was reflected with all the stations playing classic songs.

My goal was to take this inspiration towards my own radio show, and the Classics Showcase has grown to become one of the most emotionally resonating and powerful episodes for fans each year, whether current, long-standing or lapsed. A time to reflect on those we have lost also, and we think of the Faithless family with Maxi Jazz no longer with us; it was only appropriate to pay tribute to his memory too.

Hope you enjoy the journey, and it's something you will want to download and keep in your collection for some time to come. Allow your mind to escape and let the memories flow. Wishing you all a very Happy New Year, and I sincerely hope that we get to meet again in person sooner rather than later. Thanks for sticking with me and continuing to believe in what I do.

Markus Schulz - Global DJ Broadcast Classics Showcase 2023 (2 Hour Trance Classics Mix)

After his series of collector themed editions for the holidays, Markus Schulz checks in live from San Francisco for the first regular studio Global DJ Broadcast of the year. However, for 2023, he takes an adjusted approach to the format. 

For all regular studio editions, the first hour will be dedicated to the Essentials - the best in new releases across trance, progressive and techno, and highlighted by his various track features. The second hour will be devoted to either guestmixes, and / or Markus delving into a set based on a particular theme. And for today, that marks an hour-long Euphoric Techno Focus mix, with an In Bloom vocal trance focus to come next week.

Ahead of the first Down the Rabbit Hole outing for 2023 at Reelworks in Denver this Saturday, Markus Schulz checked in to the Coldharbour studio to weave another fresh edition of Global DJ Broadcast. On the show, he features new music from Kolonie, Dennis Sheperd, Kyau & Albert, Marsh, Veerus and more. In the second hour, he is joined by Miss Nien for the guestmix, as she makes her Coldharbour debut with the release of Supernova, alongside Ollie Read and Amanda Darling, released this Friday.

One of the most important chapters in Markus Schulz's career legacy has been the privilege of so many New Year's Eve open to close experience inside the cherished walls of Avalon in Los Angeles, which houses fans flying in from all over the world to be part of the occasion. It's only appropriate for the highlights of the night to mark the first Global DJ Broadcast World Tour outing of 2023. 

The World Tour is a monthly feature as part of the Global DJ Broadcast schedule, and not only provide an opportunity to hear the sounds of Markus' sets in the clubs, arenas and festivals, but act as a memento for those in attendance. Hope you enjoy the show.
