Darren Douglas Danahy wrote a complete demo version of this song in Ableton Live and as is our usual workflow he sent me the whole project and we went from there.

Drums from Stoney were added to replace most of the Digitakt ones, new bass was added by me and another lot of Bass 6 by 3D as well as vocals from Kathy Freeman and Stone.

All in all a fun project and a great track to launch the new BC page, thank you 3D for graciously letting me have your hard earned creativity adorn this and for Kathy and Stone joining in the fun.

I am a frozen statue, watching seasons come and go, feeling changes, doing nothing, forever...
Last movement of the rock symphony, where I pay tribute to, and play, my mom's spanish guitar.
Main theme (bass E1-A1...E1-A1-E2...), appears all along the album, and also main themes of other 3 movements sound here as refrains (Vienen y van / Hora tras hora) which are thus sung over 4 different musics ;) E-Ruizzo project is finished, what's to come?... below translated lyrics.

I still remember when I heard "Smells Like Teen Spirit" for the first time. I actually saw the music video on MTV in the middle of the night. "What a weird video!" is what I thought. (Sports/Club/College culture is very different in Germany lol). But the music blew my mind. 
At that time I was a singer in a Stoner Rock band, while recording Pop tunes for my solo project. This song was just a perfect fusion of my two worlds. 
Here is my take on it. It's song number 4 on my EP "My Own Crazy". 
The original is perfect, so I did not seek to copy it. My goal was to reimagine it within my own style. My wonderful friend Bettina plays the saxophone on the song, which gives it just what it needs, I think. 
With the lights out, it's less dangerous … Thank you, Nirvana! Let me know what you think!

I used some of a bass stem Alpha Roots sent me to make Red Earth Clay and I used the rest of the stem to make Sow Your Seeds. I have one unused bass and drum stem from Alpha Roots that I will make an old school hip hop song with and I may remix his original Hosanna bass stem one day to make a new reggae song. I may also ask Russ if I can make a version of Da Weed using Alpha Roots’ stems one day. After that, I may be complete unless I get gifted some Alpha Roots stems to play with. 

Huge thanks to Chiefo who set the original tone of this song which gave me inspiration for  the lyrics. Big ups to Fady, bit zone, and Lady of Fire Poetry for joining in on this project and adding their collective vibe. This one was developed and recorded one afternoon about a year ago with Jose (the Problem) when no one was thinking about mics or recording quality or nuthin', and I can’t really remember what we did. I opened it back up a few weeks ago and did a little editing. But it was basically live. I was playing v-drums somewhere back there with a little speaker, while Jose played piano with at least one mic. We may have added the vocals separately. I don’t know. I just don’t know.
