A Little More Moonshine was a phrase used by a violinist friend on Facebook after they tried moonshine for the first time which I commented would make a great title for a piece. The violinist asked me to write it, but for one reason or another has never performed or recorded it. It quotes a fiddle tune called "Hell Among the Moonshiners" but between certain notes that are altered and the Max patch that plays both a slightly detuned (by a quarter step over the whole time) and two delayed versions (one for each stereo channel). When the violinist plays certain pitches, the delays are altered via the drunk function. Thus the piece becomes increasingly disorienting for the performer and listener... like having a little more moonshine. This is a recording of one instance where I ran the MIDI of the violin part through the Max patch, so there are the comical glissandos, but it least gives the sense of this piece.
