First Snowfall and oh so Quiet

This is a remastered copy done by Larry Phillabaum to improve the sound of these live, improv jam sessions done in the basement studio in Bay View WI. The originals were simply captured by a Zoom Stereo Mic system off the PA and individual amps. This is two of our fall monthly jam sessions, newly initiated and it's all new and fresh that day. Recorded Sept and Oct of 2024 and remastered in Nov 2024 by Larry Phillabaum.

Let it Go

This song was created for Ashley Noelle, as she soars through the Far Eastern Skies and beyond, to her life's dreams and new adventures!  May the wind always be at your back, my daughter.I love you. Concept by Jon and Marshall as a "going away song" and a rememberence song for Ash, as she steps beyond the big lights and big business of Chicago , to find her way in the Far Eastern World for awhile. We all wish you luck, little girl, all grown up.

A Father's Tale

This was a smaller jam group in Bayview, just four of us, as one guitarist and one bassist could not attend. We all had to multitask. This was one of the better takes, but still has it's live improv faults. Marshall Carlson- Drums and Vocals/Lyrics, Ricco Caliendo- Vocals and additional Lyrics, Larry Phillabaum- Guitars and Pedals, Jon Mercer- Keyboards and bassline keys. Jon also cut this take out of the 2 plus hour jam and made it a single track . Larry sweetened the original recording done with a Zoom 2 mic system. Thank you. It's a Dark Dark World out there right now. Hoping for change.
