Cyrano, ovvero Carlo Festa, cantautore italiano di provincia siciliana, classe ‘90. Inizia il suo percorso cantautorale nel mese di Gennaio 2013, incidendo, in circostanze amatoriali, l'embrione di uno stilema di canzone pop/impegnata, per mezzo della quale inaugura l’inizio della sua ricerca verso la sua identità stilistica. 
Dopo un paio d’anni vissuti tra le ombre di un rifugio entro il quale prendevano vita le sue produzioni; e le piazze ambite, nelle quali tentava di tracciare il profilo ipotetico di un eventuale pubblico, nel 2014 riesce a riunire a sé un manipolo di professionisti, al quale concederà lo spazio necessario per dar vita e forma concreta al suo umile canzoniere.

I primi passi vengono compiuti anni più tardi, nella partecipazione a vari festival di cantautorato e musica inedita, come il Tour Music Fest 2016, nel quale, tuttavia, riesce a garantirsi soltanto l’accesso ai quarti di finale. Nel frattempo, l’idea di un prodotto completo diventa necessaria, non tanto per ragioni di vetrina, quanto per esigenze artistiche che potessero dare concretezza a tutte quelle canzoni sino ad ora arrangiate. Così nacque l’idea del primo album “Atto Primo - Il Faro dei Perduti”. Ad introdurre quest’ultimo, un EP contenente tre brani “Proemio”, che riassume l’esperienza musicale vissuta assieme ai primi compagni di viaggio di Cyrano. 
Questa parantesi temporale, lo vede impegnato nell’apertura di vari concerti presso importanti spazi locali come il Teatro Coppola di Catania, per i Miqrà, capitanati da Giovanni Timpanaro, con il quale condividerà volentieri più di un palco; e in dimensioni concertistiche interregionali, condividendo il palco dell’Arci Chinaski di Sermide, assieme all’amico cantautore Massimiliano Cranchi. Partecipa  a svariati concorsi come l’ArtRockMuseum di Bologna, nel quale accusa una sonoro giudizio sprezzante, poco giustificato dalla giuria stessa; e al Lennon Festival di Belpasso ove, contrariamente al precedente, si aggiudicherà due premi insieme a Giovanni Timpanaro - Miglior Testo in gara, Premio Discografico consegnato dall’Etichetta indipendente Jonio Culture -.

Il tema ricorrente nella stesura dei brani è prevalentemente a sfondo sociale: ovvero, basato sul tentativo sostanziale di comunicare il riscatto sociale a un pubblico generazionale privato di riferimenti culturali; molto accentuata è la riflessione sulla questione mediorientale, per la quale, lo stesso cantautore, ammette quanto il suo interesse si concentri maggiormente su determinate tematiche.

It's said nothing ever goes as planned. Sometimes not having a plan at all makes for some impressive results. Look no farther than Who Brought The Dog for proof.
With four albums under his belt as a member of German rockers The New Black, guitarist Fabian "Fabs" Schwarz decided it was time to take a shot at releasing a solo album following a potentially life-changing event. Comfortable as a multi-talented musician but concerned about having lyrics of matching calibre he enlisted the help of Carl Begai, Canadian heavy metal journalist and long-time supporter of The New Black. This would be no cut / paste project, however; rather than trying to fit lyrics to existing music, Fabs chose to create music based around the lyrics with the idea it would be a rock-based album. The only rule was no lyrics about Vikings, dragons and being brothers of metal, no thrash or black metal riffs, no death metal vocals.  
The target was to 10 songs for the album, dubbed Welcome To The Man Cave, and 11 were written based on an unexpected chemistry between Fabs and Carl. What started as clear-cut rock album evolved to include elements of funk, jazz, blues and punk, and the final result defies being stamped as any one genre. And, as things developed Fabs decided it was no longer a solo outing which required a project name. In addition, a drummer was required for live shows in the future as the songs too strong to remain a studio work. The New Black's Philipp Klinger and Benjamin Haupt were welcomed aboard to fill the requirements of having a flesh-and-blood drummer and a second axeman on stage.
If listening to Who Brought The Dog reminds the listener of Volbeat, Black Sabbath, Monster Magnet, The Cult, Honeymoon Suite, Pink Floyd or classic Aerosmith at any given point, you're in the right place.
