Italorator w/ Marsman [Episode 2]

For more than a decade Alexander Dorn has shaken electronic sounds, stirring shapes and forms as Credit 00 that adhere to few genre tags. Being sonically socialized through Hip Hop in the 1990s, Graffiti and Breakdance were the first outlets for his creativity, music dominating his daily life since a young age. It was through Hip Hop Culture that he realised that you don't need a degree or know how to play an instrument to create your own music.

Inspired by the US Ghetto music of the 80s his journey to explore the endless universe of sound had kicked off. Leading him through many phases of musical preferences: Classic Electro, Reggae Dancehall, Italo Disco, Chicago House, Detroit Techno, New Wave or Ghettotech... After concentrating on numerous styles his mission became to combine different influences in DJing and production. Music without genre and boundaries is also the concept of his label Rat Life Records, since 2014 it has been a platform for his own output and those of like-minded artists. 

Having released many EP's, Compilations and Collaborations on Labels like Uncanny Valley, Chiwax, June, Nation, Bordello A Parigi or Pinkman and especially his 2017 debut Album “Game Over“ show the many voices of an open minded artist. Even now Credit 00 is always on the look out for the unknown and seeks to challenge the listener and himself rather than fulfill expectations.

The mix was recorded live in a single take with lots of spontaneous energy ;)

Ilius is a Lithuanian DJ/radio host currently based in Amsterdam, a resident of Radio Vilnius, and a former curator of Secret Thirteen magazine. Coming from a goth/post-punk background and later on embracing EBM, electro, and Detroit influences, he tends to balance between the dark, the groovy, and the emotional. The coldwaves from the Baltics and Eastern/Mid Europe, experimental synth fringes, future nostalgia, and forgotten cassette gems can also be expected. There is no single genre, just adventurous explorations of sounds, stories both seen and unseen.

Ilius also did shows on such prominent platforms as NTS, Red Light Radio, Operator, Radio TNP, Cashmere Radio, Palanga Street Radio, Radio Alhara, Future Intel.

Krismika is a Rotterdam based DJ who is heavily involved both on and off stage in Rotterdam’s nightlife. Next to DJing she is working as a programmer for online radio station Operator and doing research on gender in the Dutch electronic underground scene. 

As a DJ Krismika’s sound yields a broad selection of tunes within (but not limiting to) the genres of Electro, New Beat, EBM, Wave and Italo. She is a lover of opening sets and radio shows filled with downtempo oddities, however she also doesn’t mind playing a dark sweaty basement in the middle of the night.

Tony Morris is a 72-year-old artist from Glasgow who began exploring various creative pursuits in his late 60s, including music-making, video creation, poetry, and live performance. Often referred to as the "Minimal Synth Ivor Cutler," he has built a large and dedicated following on social media, and his live performances have been met with rapturous acclaim. A recent performance at an Optimo night in Glasgow was met with riotous enthusiasm, with teenage girls screaming his name - this is 100% true.  

Tony has been in communication with JD Twitch for years, making his debut release on Optimo Music a natural fit. His first single is a cover of Dimensional Holofonic Sound's seminal track "House Of God," a song that holds special significance for JD Twitch, who has been playing it since 1990 and has sampled it in multiple remixes (shhhh!). JD Twitch couldn’t resist the opportunity to remix Tony’s version, completing a compelling release package. Tony’s unparalleled rendition of “House Of God”  may well be one of the most unique dancefloor tracks of the year.

Vladyslav Putistin is a Kyiv based Ukrainian DJ and producer. He
started in the late 00's and witnessed the birth of modern local clubs and festivals which forged his energetic distinctive style.

As a DJ he seamlessly merges EBM, Italo Disco, New Beat and Trance in truely admired sets, podcasts and mixes. After the full scale invasion Vladyslav started to produce his own music as a solo artist and as part of a duo with talented Kyiv based artist Lvcerate.

Their first EP 'Hot Flashes' was released in early 2024 via Sharped
Records. The second one 'Does it still hurt?' followed in August via
Emerald and Doreen.
