Solo guitar improvisation. 57 year old Gibson J50.  jrBaggs pickup and preamp. Finger style. Exploration of A Mixolydian. Standard tuning.  Recorded on Dec. 1, 2025 with the rain on the skylight. It is my 73rd December.

I recorded a quasi blues in Em loop a while back. I like to practice with it. This is a violin improv and a mandolin improv with this loop  combined. They were recorded at different times without the intention of mixing them together but the synchronicity is evidence that's it's the same player. The title refers to my learning to play the violin as a retirement project...
