In a world awash with memory, “Shame in the Shimmer” unfolds as a fragile confession. It tells the story of emotional paralysis in a moment when love needed nothing but presence. The narrator stands by a poolside—sunlight flickering across the water—haunted by the moment they failed to reach out, to speak, to stay. The song exists between silence and surrender, where remorse floats like a white flower drifting over forgotten reflections.

When writing the song, I was inspired by the great The National - Once upon the Poolside. One of the most beautiful pieces of music ever, for me. I'm a huge Fan.
