A delicate blend of deep house and modern electronic pop, Things We Never Were traces the outlines of a relationship that almost was soft, restrained, and quietly unresolved.

Built on minimal grooves and warm, spacious production, the track creates a late-night atmosphere where emotions echo longer than words. The vocals float in and out of focus intimate, reflective, and gently detached as if remembering something half-forgotten but never fully felt.

Lyrically, it captures the quiet tension of unspoken connections: moments that hovered close to meaning but slipped away before they could become real. It’s about what’s left in the silence in the pauses, in the distance, in the aftermath.
