Cerramos con el triste y durísimo "Por si acaso no regreso" de Celia Cruz en homenaje a las centenas de miles de torturados, fusilados, asesinados, ahogados en el Mar Caribe, y a los millones de exiliados por causas políticas por la dictadura marxista que nunca han podido regresar a su Patria ni verla liberada del dictador.

‘Cabio Sile Shango!’ - Now here’s a true macho man. Probably the most widely known and revered of the Orisha, Shango (aka Chàngó, Xango, Sango)  is the epitome of all things masculine, and the dispenser of vengeance on behalf of the wronged. He is the osha of thunder and lightning, fire, victory, sensuality, virility, undisputable authority,  justice, legal matters, drumming and dancing. Throughout the African diaspora, he is regarded as the main symbol of resistance against European oppression, and of African self-confidence in the world and black power generally. He was once an great warrior and the fourth king of Òyó, capital of the Yoruba empire.
Pretty much a ladies’ man, he has rather a crush on oshun. His special numbers are six and twelve, and his favorite colors are red and white, preferred foods are bananas, apples, cornmeal, okra, red wine and rum. Shango's day of the week is Saturday, although Friday also is popular.
He is represented with a double axe on his three heads and the holy animal attributed to him is a ram. He’s also said to be fond of dogs.

Shango

Añade, which means the Crown of Aña was born in Havana, Cuba in September 2003 from Aña Bi Olorun, the Aña of Oluo Fran Marquetti. Aña bi Olorun was born from the Aña of the late Jesus Perez.  Jesus Perez, Oba Ilu, and Pablo Roche, Akilakpa were the most influential olubatas of the 20th century.  Since its New York debut at the start of 2004 Añade has presided over many Orisha ceremonies in the greater New York area wherein many omolorishas were presented to Aña. 
Añade was received by Felix Sanabria, Awo Orunmila Ifamola omo odun Oshebile, Olo Obatala Igbinlaye who for over thirty years has been performing Orisha music with many of the most prominent drummers of our time. Most notably – the late great Orlando “Puntilla” Rios, Oni Shango Obatilemi who was a leading exponent of Aña, Orisha and Afro -Cuban music in the United States for close to thirty years. Puntilla introduced Felix to his Oluo Siguayu (godfather) Gerardo “Taboada”Ferandez Ogbeyono Ifa who initiated Him into the Ifa Priesthood in March of 2001 in the home of Lazaro (ibae) and Fran Marquetti  in Havana Cuba. In June of 1992 he was initiated as a priest of Obatala by Olo Oshun Evelyn (Okantomi) Smart and Oni Shango Chief ( Aya Ilu) Bey (ibae). 
The omo alañas of Añade include some of the youngest and brightest members of our Orisha community and they are dedicated to sustaining our traditions for future generations.  These young men and women are part of the Añade family and have committed themselves to the ongoing study of Orisha liturgical music, respectful performance of religious songs and ritual and sharing the gifts and blessings of Aña with our community.

Caiana dos Crioulos é uma comunidade quilombola localizada na zona rural do município de Alagoa Grande, estado brasileiro da Paraíba.[2] Caiana contava em 2007 com 522 pessoas, sobretudo crianças e adolescentes, que viviam de culturas de subsistência, como mandioca, inhame, batata-doce, bem como da criação de animais e fruticultura.[1]

Embora esteja a apenas 122 km de João Pessoa, a comunidade ainda hoje permanece como um mundo à parte. Seus instrumentos, músicas, danças e costumes ainda guardam algo de sua ancestralidade e história.
