Marty Manus is a Country/Rock singer and songwriter from Chattanooga,Tn.

Influenced by early artist such as Garth Brooks, Tracy Lawrence, Gary Allen and many more, Manus starting playing guitar at the age of 8.

He first came onto the Chattanooga music scene as the guitarist for the rock band Crucial Defiance. The band played various well known venues around Chattanooga in the early 2000's including The Bay, Rythm & Brews, and many more and were also part of Chattanoogas earlier local music movement- Fuel T.V, etc... After Crucial Defiances' disbanding in early 2003, Manus played in several other local projects before making a name and establishing himself permanently in the local Chattanooga music scene as the frontman and guitarist for the hard rock band Seven Under Suicide. The band played many cities around the Southeast including Chattanooga,Atlanta,Knoxville,Nashville,Montgomery and many more.. Playing venues such as The Masquerade, Midtown Music Hall, Rythm & Brews, and Fathom just to name a few. The band also opened and shared the stage with numerous big name acts such as Shadowwax, The Swear, Allel, Mighty Sideshow, and Shinedown. Their first full-length album 'Seven Seasons' was an independent success and was distributed in many small record stores in the Southeast. The band parted ways in mid 2008. Manus has since returned to his early roots of Country mixed with a bit of edginess.. He's currently in the studio self-producing his first e.p.
