SPACE OPERA
Space opera is one of the more confusing and ill-defined terms that the genre has to offer. It typically refers to long-running science fiction series with continuing story arcs. These are usually set in space (or involve travel between two or more planets), have a large number of recurring characters and focus on large-scale (or “epic”) fictional events, such as galactic wars.

Recurring themes in space opera include politics, imperialism, colonialism, war, space exploration, heroism and rebellion.

experimental approach and was so critical it got me into 
42 degrees fever. Glad I did not die! What an experience.

Being originally a very short & simple song I wrote about a traumatic event (translated lyrics below), I have been working separately on verses and refrain, then trying new ways to combine and glue them.

So, aware of changing moods along, most with tambourine in hands ;)

Robby the robot is back and playing with his probe! haha This track was inspired by past retro kewlness and future gadgets and is an orginal electronic spaced out techno sci-fi styled composition that was created using several gadgets including Little Bits electronics a kind of lego for making sounds! In this setup i used two pitch osscilators a filter and a delay module which was triggered by a Doepfer Darktime sequencer via cubase which was connected to an added midi in and CV in & out ports on the Little bits! Percussion was synced in with Teenage engineerings Tonic! I added some links for you techies and anyone else! Free Download! Peace :D

Watch out get to close and you will be gone and sucked into another dimension, many have tried to tame the powers and ventured to close never to be seen again and now the Klingons have found it and Kahless wants to control its power into his space station and all others must be destoryed!

I Can Eat Tribble

1941 in Babyn Jar(Ukraine near Kiev), in probably the largest single massacre in the history of mankind, almost 34,000 Jews were murdered by the Nazis in cooperation with the German Wehrmacht by shooting and "piling them up" in the "Women's Gorge” (in Ukrainian "Babyn Jar"). 

Most of the murdered Jews were completely exterminated. Their bodies were burned, their belongings stolen.

With my song "Babyn Jar" I want to make a small contribution to this massacre never being forgotten and everything humanly possible being done so that such an event never repeats in the future.

And since this massacre leaves one only in speechless mourning for the souls, which are often raped, then murdered and wiped out, there are no lyrics in this song apart from a lament choir this time.

Love Wants Its Own Way | The Consolers

For the 31st Solar Kama Sutra song I decided to challenge myself a bit and do something in 7/4 time.  I tried remembering a band I heard do that and thought, "Isn't Pink Floyd's "Money" in 7/4 time?"  I remembered hearing it and thinking it was...

...  Turns out it is!  So for that reason I thought of Pink Floyd, and tried to do a Pink Floydish sound.    It's also a nod to Radiohead's "Pyramid Song".  I tried to capture the same feeling that song gives me, but with Solar Kama Sutra this time. 
(by the way, Solar Kama Sutra has always been just one person.  It's just the name for what I call the music)

Since Radiohead already used "Pyramid" which is well-known since ancient Egypt to be the coolest shape, I had to go with something else.  "Sphere Song" and "Cube Song" ?...  Well...  Those song titles just aren't gonna work....   Maybe "Dodecahedron Song"?....  Hmm... That actually sounds pretty catchy...  Feel free to use it!  

 My vocals are used more heavily on this track than it seems.  Throughout the track I tried to make my vocals sound like guitars and other instruments

  And definitely hats off to Pink Floyd for making a hit song in a 7/4 time signature.   How many times has that been done before?!

And of course, hats off to Stonehenge.  The ultimate inspiration for this track
