CHARACTER: ANNOUNCER-TRON

Now that the original organizer has abandoned the tournament (as far as we're concerned), there had to be someone else to take his place. With no one wanting to take the role, he had to get creative. And uh... this is the result of that.  Introducing the Announcer-tron, your new host of the Mash Pit! Including an unspecified amount of voicelines and potentially some raccoons inside of it. Batteries included!

(Huey sits awake in his cabin, knowing theres only a few more moments until hes paired to fight. The host's unexpected leave has taken a toll on the rest of the contestants, but has confused Huey the most. ToeJam is there for support, and Earl is waiting outside.)

TOEJAM: Ayyy, there's the big man of the hour!... Why aren't you asleep? Our pairings are gonna release soon.
HUEY: Don't pretend like nothing happened. We're gonna be stuck in this damn hole.
TOEJAM: Yeah yeah, alright, whatever. It ain't that big of a deal, since I'm pretty sure he controls the host anyway.
HUEY: "I'm pretty sure" doesn't confirm it. He's probably already gone in some other random country for all we know, and there's no way he could control something so far from him.
TOEJAM: ...Man, you gotta learn how to stop being so moody.
HUEY: I ain't moody, I'm just lookin' at it in the most sensible way. We're breaking out once I get the chance to prepare.
TOEJAM: Dawg! We're not starting a revolution. Just let it go with the funky flow, and they'll let us outta here eventually.
HUEY: Do you know why they put us in a TOURNAMENT of all things?
TOEJAM: ...What?
HUEY: They put us in a tournament because these men are tryna kill us for their entertainment. Only one of these groups are getting out of here alive, and I'm just not gonna let that flow!
TOEJAM: ...
TOEJAM: ...You trippin'.
RILEY: Can y'all stop fuckin talkin?!? Mans tryna SLEEP!!! Y'all been talkin about that man for years, I'm just tryna get paid when I win.
TOEJAM: Aight. It's almost morning anyway, so I should be goin.
1a: And why are you even awake, exactly?
TOEJAM: ...Uhm, us aliens are just born nocturnal I guess.
HUEY: You "guess"?
RILEY: if that aint the fakest shit i ever hearddd-
TOEJAM: Y'all hush now, get some rest while y'all still can. See ya both in a bit.
(ToeJam leaves their cabin, taking Earl with him.)
Huey: Alright.
(Huey sits in silence for a bit.)
Huey: ...
Huey: ...I ain't trippin.
