SEFF brings a party to the New Year with the next release on the mighty Hot Creations in the form of ‘Jack’s Back’ featuring three superior club weapons.

‘Like That’ on the A-side chuggs with electronic synths and powerful raw bass, ‘Jack’s Back’ is a high energy hitter with a jackin’ ghetto vibe and the heavy duty ‘Zoot’ thunders with a Jamaican style vocal. These are compelling, peak time tracks that guarantee to erupt every dancefloor.

Joe Saunders AKA SEFF has made a huge impact with his distinct crossover style of raw, underground house and techno music, retaining attitude, swing, swagger and energy in both his productions and skilfully constructed DJ sets. Since being signed to Steve Lawler’s VIVa MUSiC in 2012, he has gone on to release on many other hugely respected labels, worked with an array of top artists, remixed Dave Seaman on Great Stuff Recordings and also was signed to Dave’s label ‘Selador’. He established Mindmaze Music as a platform to release great music from himself, established artists and new talent and it has rapidly become a favourite of many underground music lovers around the world.

Hot Creations continue to dominate the hearts of dance music, well beyond their 50th release. A platform for the pioneering partnership of Jamie Jones and Lee Foss to share the strongest releases from their musical family and discover prime new talent.

Welcome back to our newest edition of our beloved Upon.You Digital branch where another fresh face makes its Upon.You label debut these days - a face fresh to our ever expanding roster but not a newcomer to the scene at all. We're talking the Switzerland-based DJ Le Roi here who has left his mark with productions on labels like Objektivity, Get Physical, Compost Black Label or Deeptown Music in the past eight years and now is setting out to rock floors worldwide with his forthcoming digital single You Don't Know. With the title track You Don't Know DJ Le Roi fuses super seductive TechHouse and most uplifting House vibes to a maximum ecstatic effect when multilayered, soulful female vocals meet killer stabs, glitzy synths melodies and thrilling, progressive bass sweeps, sending all punters' hands high up in the sky. High energy, anyone? Following up is Muuvin', another powerful TechHouse-affair exploring more sketchy and dangerous nightlife territories definied by growling, fever'ish basslines, tribal'esque chants and a spine-tingling main motif that's accompanied by more gooey, slowly morphing sub warps as well as functional, slighly oldskool reminiscing snare rolls for those who know. Finally Chris Wood & Meat come up with their Muuvin And Groovin Remix which takes things to a techier level with razor sharp hi-hats, bouncy metallic modulations and a rolling Munich Disco-style bassline perfectly complementing the tunes epic string coating and on point, trance-inducing synth works for a levitating dancefloor feel.

One of the most exciting up and coming artists of recent times, Detlef makes his debut on the mighty Hot Creations with his ‘Kinky Tail EP’ featuring three jacking bombs plotting a riot on the dance floor.

In a short space of time Detlef shot into the limelight with releases and remixes for well-respected labels including Knee Deep In Sound, Moon Harbour, and Defected. Next up on Emerald City German duo Raumakustik serve up a sonic trip for the senses via ‘Dem A Pree’ with northern talents Patrick Topping and Jey Kurmis onboard to dish out two killer remixes.  
 
Following the huge summer anthem ‘Raider’ which dropped on Hot Creations subsidiary Hot Trax last year, Volker & Seb aka Raumakustik have been gaining an army of fans with releases following on Toolroom, Suara and Formatik. This next release, ‘Dem A Pree’ is a heavy club weapon of the highest order, prompted by dynamic and powerful vocals. “Pree means sticking your nose into someone else’s business,’ they explain. ‘Patrick Topping and Jey Kurmis did just that with our track but in this case it’s a positive thing because their perspectives on sound and vocals made it complete.”
 
Since his first release on Hot Trax back in 2013, Patrick Topping has since become one of the biggest names in the business with an intense touring schedule, a string of successful releases and a prized residency at Jamie’s Paradise night at DC10. Here he spins his signature style into the original with an intoxicating bassline that will shake any dance floor. 
 
Rising star Jey Kurmis has been making a name for himself on labels such as Moon Harbour, VIVa Music and Wow! Recordings since his artist defining EP on Hot Creations last year. Stripping the original back he creates a solid, low slung roller with industrial stabs at the forefront.
