Swiss born, Formentera based dj/producer Ivan Pezzini aka MASSIVAN is back on the dancefloor with a boom (and the lovely vocals of singer BEA LUNA on the title track).
After numerous prestigeous compilation entries (a.o. HOTEL COSTES, BUDDHA BAR) and his latest album release „Family With 3 Hearts“ (just recently out on PSCHENT) being more on the smoother side of things, MASSIVAN now re-introduces his impeccable uptempo production capability again. 
As the first in a string of special dj-friendly EP & single releases through his own PMUSICA imprint, the mystical sounds of „December“ first and foremost make a clear statement: dance, dance, dance... but with class & style please. 
Massivan comes full circle with this kind of darker sound – although being a studied musician with „classical“ skills, he never was a stranger to all things house, trance & techno... and the deep space in between. In fact, the man travelled the globe as a club dj sporting those genres more than a decade ago already.
Meanwhile, there is more where this came from. More clubby bangers like these, courtesy of Mr. MASSIVAN – as well as, to be introduced soon, the fresh sounds of a man they call OLSON. With neighbouring island Ibiza’s finest beach dub selectors on the remix duty, what could possibly go wrong? Beach Messiah & George Solar morph the darker original into a seemingly endless flow in their very own approach, easily fusing mellowed out niceness with definite yet ultra smooth hints of most irresistible latin percussion floating in a trademark sea of dubby bubbles. Making this track the perfect transition from around 90bpm to the upper regions on another wonderful island morning, noon or night - whereever you are.

With “the blackbook translations” series, Solar Moon showcases their ongoing love for dub versions & remix work - highlighting the essence of their latest album “Blackbook” by letting talented friends in high places take another fresh perspective on its original chapters. Open mind for a different view.

Budapest based chillwave superheroes GELKA (who just compiled & mixed the most recent CAFE DEL MAR compilation) teamed up with fellow hungarian producer FORTEBA for a sensationally smooth reinterpretation of Solar Moon’s “The way we fall” featuring Washington based love poet JEN… sounding like the perfect soundtrack to a magic sunday morning ice skate excursion on frozen lake Balaton of sorts.  

MASSIVAN, renown DJ/producer from Ibiza’s neighboring island Formentera (and acclaimed regular contributor to compilations like HOTEL COSTES), takes the downtempo bubble funk of the original “dibidibi” (featuring the uniquely treated vocals of Abiodun aka Don Abi) on a sailing trip through the more balearic part of the mediterranean sea on a bright, clear & warm summerday.

Meanwhile, Germany’s most authentic and experienced dub/reggae masterproducer DUBVISIONIST transcends the rather fragile original vibe of “the way we fall” into minimalistic roots drenched outer space, adding a massive amount of atmospheric subfrequencies… plus those mesmerizing dubs & delays of course.

His unique blend of chilled house, jazz, and downtempo has been featured on iconic compilations like Hotel Costes and Buddha Bar.
