Future Unit. Leftfield disco.  Eclectic electronica. Cosmic synths, acid basslines, fat drums, intensity, atmosphere, a nod to rave, a loose groove.  This is creative dance music taking in classic influences such as factory records, funk, The Stone Roses, Daft Punk, Balearic, Chicago house and library music, all fed through a contemporary filter.  

Future Unit is London based composer and producer Remy Felix Vas.  Previous vinyl only releases on the Pornwax and Tuskwax labels in 2016 met with critical acclaim.  His recent single ‘Lazybones’ on Ramrockred includes remixes by dance music legend Ashley Beedle (Xpress 2, Black science Orchestra) and has  drawn support from the likes of BBC Radio 6 Music and Bill Brewster to name but a few. The man is clearly doing something right and late 2017 saw him drop his debut album proper ‘The Drawback.’  With a second album due for release in summer 2018, this is creative dance music that won’t just wash over you  - there’s too many hooks and song-writing sensibilities there for that. It will bring you up, it will get you raucous and then lovingly return you to earth; it will stay with you long after tonight is all over...

We produce the Glittering Plains dance tent at the Barbican's Walthamstow Garden Party each July.
