Justin Aulis Long is a sonic sorcerer, urban Homeric poet, and cosmic wanderer that exists within the liminal spaces where light meets dark. Long is the offspring of a gorgon, conceived within a brick and mortar labyrinth while surrounded by the supernatural electronic voices of angelic forces.

While engaging in themes of the uncanny and erotic, Long opens thresholds which lead to psychedelic realms during communal dance gatherings. Applications of sonic alchemy during ritual action generate vibrant forces created through collective effervescence, causing a bubbling over of ecstatic energy leading to rapture. During the rite, incantations are expressed through fusing a swarm of aural fragments composed from diverse temperaments by way of a personal and singular technique.Sacred objects (records), selector’s tools (turntables and mixer), body, spirit, harmonic and discordant voices unify and become one - The Soft Machine. 

During a ritual performance, phonic collages are created intuitively on sight, sigils are aurally  direct with specific intent, and offerings are bestowed before an alter, all charged by an engine of chaos. Time and space unravels while normality ruptures and disintegrates as foundational structures of the status quo are dismantled through intensive executions, founded in the practices surrounding musical selection.  

Currently, Long is resident at Smart Bar, the Chicago dance institution, and has become an organ in the body of that space. Recording for L.I.E.S. as one half of the Circling Vultures, Long continues to tell tales of rave gatherings past, while divining the the future.

A decade into shaping careers of artists like Claptone, Adana Twins, Joyce Muniz and Budakid, he continues to remain on the pulse of the global underground shaping dance music through his label, productions and unconventional, uncompromising and unpredictable sets. 

Shir Khan established his label night at Berlin’s Watergate over the years, did a groundbreaking weekly radioshow at Radio Fritz for over 8 years whilst regularly touring all over the world. He is currently based in Bangkok, Thailand. 
His music is exciting and full of amazing tracks that you most likely will not have heard before.
In 2016 Shir Khan released the album compilation ’Dancing & Romancing’ to great critical press acclaim.
Label boss Shir Khans excellent A&R skills proceed him by this point, but taking stock of just a fraction of what hes signed along the way really drives his reputation home. From breaking Claptone as an unknown artist to helping him become one of the biggest-selling names in dance music to introducing the world to other major players like Adana Twins, Doctor Dru and Joyce Muniz, he has unearthed a staggering amount of talent in such a short space of time. Shir Khan furthermore launched the Secret Gold series on Exploited which features extended family members and a new sub-label Exploited Ghetto NOW Exploited Club.

Jade Metz has grown to become a highly in demand artist in underground house music today and is an integral part of the electronic music scene. Working under a number of different aliases, such as d-t3ch, Creature Comforts and Jazzmopper J and as the head honcho of labels FYI Recordings, Highjack Recordings and Sole Priority Music, he is synonymous with a wide array of consistently good music that never fails to move. He has worked with many well respected labels such as Robsoul, Blockhead , Guesthouse and Spatula City to name a few, with much of his music still being released in 12inch vinyl format .
Hailing from Melbourne Australia, but having spent much of his life travelling and playing all over the globe, he has grown to appreciate a broad range of music and his sound is heavily influenced by jazz, funk, disco, hip- hop, soul, latin through to techno and other forms of electronic music. This wide array of influences is reflected in both his production and DJ sets. As a DJ he has built a fierce reputation for always keeping things interesting by skillfully and seamlessly fusing old and new music from a variety of different genres, often putting his own spin on classic records in the mix. As a producer he has a distinct sound of his own, yet manages to encompass many different genres, beyond just electronic music.
His production work has been in heavy rotation by everyone from DJ Sneak, Grant Nelson, Derrick Carter, Mark Farina to Roy Davis Jr. as well as being licensed to commercial mix cds and various documentaries.
