When we shut down the stage there must have been at least 200 people still rocking - Fozzy knows how to party! This is one of the most diverse selections I have ever come up with... Playing music on New Years Day is always one of my favourite sets of the year.  We've all put the old year to bed and come together to share in the coming years rich potential.  Over time, I've found that the sets that resonate are the ones that riff on classics, are rich with soul, that are just all the way down funky.  Comfort music.  Feel good music.  
 Accessible, but done right, hits for the heads as well.  I nabbed this recording from a set that I did not think was going to happen.  2020 was a rough year.  I hadn't performed since August as pandemic lockdowns had curtailed 99% of live music.  So I really wanted to catch the feels right.  Glad I captured this.  Hope you enjoy. Matt is no stranger to sharing the stage with legendary artists, having toured over 15 countries opening for artists such as Rakim, KRS-One, The Pharcyde, Raekwon (Wu-Tang), Slum Village, The Beatnuts, Kool Keith & Fatlip. Matt has performed at festivals such as Shambhala, Rifflandia & Celebration of Lights. Matt has also worked with many acclaimed artists in the studio, with his productions featuring legendary artists like Slimkid3, Fatlip & KRS-One and Canadian artists like Mark Woodyard, Larisa Marie (NADUH), Manteasah & Eazy Mac.
