Dan Formless launches Saboteurs Sanctuary as an auditory expression of his Forward Movement studio in London, UK.

An avid collector of music gear with a penchant for vintage units, Dan has scoured the globe collecting rare studio machinery in a quest to create unique sounds. His travels have added further layers to an already rich canvas, painted by DJ exploits across major cities in Europe and Asia, alongside residencies in London nightclubs.

Focusing on solo music production, Dan has dedicated the last few years to his creative process liberation whilst experimenting with drum machines, synthesizers and effects. He is now sharing the results of these sonic explorations, delving into the deeper sides of house, techno and electro whilst staying true to his dubby minimal roots.

The inaugural ‘Actions Speak Louder’ EP hits the ground running with two original tracks from Dan Formless and a stellar remix from Alex Celler. ‘Nitty Gritty’ is a peak time brain melter with sizzling synth lines and intricate drum patterns occupying the A-side. ‘4Q’ weaves together syncopated rhythms and deep rolling bass lines on the flip side. These are punctuated by playful call-and-response synth motifs to create an enigmatic after-hours slow burner. Alex Celler offers a glitchy ‘4Q’ remix with his undeniable flair for fusing infectious grooves with futuristic aural landscapes in a late night exploration of modular electronics.

Rob:- I have been mixing house music from about 1992 and have been clubbing since 1987/8. 
In collecting many many records, I have DJ'd at many events over the years, however I like to keep it underground not a commercial DJ or Bar DJ just find the spot crank up the sound system and enjoy a legendary night to remember, never to forget...


Jase is turning his hand presently to production too preparing for a slate of original Jase Jay productions being released in the Summer 2016; it's going to be another action packed year for this hard grafting artist without doubt. 
 
In fact, with his versatility to varying styles even beyond that of his popular style and selection of house, it would probably come as no shock at all that further dates have been added to Jase's Diary by the time this very biographical work reaches you.  
 
Always looking to push a crowd further past expectation, certainly pleased to entertain and definitely persistent in making sure that each and every party he plays or puts on is excitedly promoted to the fullest of limits; nearly two decades on, Jase is still the man with a bright future. His consistency in gigs, solid feedback from both crowds and Promoters and deep, uplifting and exciting sets are a testament to that and long may it continue.

Biography - 2000

It's hard to keep a quality Saturday night house club going in these days of corporate superclubs and world wide clubbing tours. In a major city at least you can rely on a big population to help you out, but out of places like London, Liverpool and Manchester it's hard to keep the vibe going. Which is why Danny Franks, resident DJ at the much praised Silk @ Enzo's in Salisbury is so unique. 

This is a man who not only DJ's but co-promotes what must be the best long running house night in the south west ( It started in 1996 ). And it's not some barn full of bumpkins either. Enzo's is transformed on Saturday's into a perfect clubbing environment complete with sumptuous decor and firing sound system filled with quality clubbers all ready to party, to lose themselves and their troubles. It's what's been keeping dancers going for years; the chance to lose it, to be who you want to be, to forget your job and your lousy boss for just a few hours once a week. And at Enzo's they do it to Danny's soundtrack. 

Entering the club when Danny plays you're struck immediately by the intensity of his sound, the fusion of deep bass and soaring synth riffs that echo round the club, assaulting the senses. But more than that you're taken with the devotion that the Silk crowd show him. During the other DJ's sets you can sense that the locals aren't to bothered about the guest spinners, they're merely waiting for, what is to them, the main event. And when Danny comes on for those final two hours and mixes that first track in, the club explodes. Franks is a true resident, working out every week what the crowd will go for, educating and entertaining them with his mix of deep or uplifting trance and harder house, adding breaks here and there when it suits him. This is a DJ on top of his profession. 

Of course, it would be easy for him to rest on his laurels, after all Silk would be hard to top, but Danny's not like that, he's never satisfied. His guest spots have taken him all over the country. He's played at The Zap, Brighton, Heaven, Ministry of Sound, London, and several guest mixes on Ministry Radio’s “Tranced Out” show just to name a few, playing alongside every, and I mean every big name in the business. Danny Franks' career is taking off. Watch this lad, as all the best football managers say.
