Travail avec Meredith Monk

I recently noticed that I have much less hair than a few years ago. I am not sad about it, but I thought I should make a piece  about it. I used no-input mixer, electromagnetic pickup, analog synthesizer, and dancing toy cat for the piece.

for any plucked or keyboard instrument and dual delay

Eve Beglarian (b. 1958) is an Armenian-American composer based in New York City. In *until it blazes* she creates a rich tapestry of textures from great economy of means, as the entire melodic content of the piece consists of only six notes. A gradual additive process is combined with shifting accenting patterns, allowing the emergence of floating "super melodies" from the repetitive background. The exact form of the piece is left to the performer; in this recording, I attempted to create a sense of urgency, as the activity in the piece accelerates until a final ignition and rapid combustion.

Eyelid Spasm

Rough beats, deep basslines and dark atmospheres - Taucher (german term for "diver") is one of a kind, who literally let's you dive deep in his own ocean full of sorrow, even if you'll drown. With tracks such as Hidden Element's "Redemption" or Reza & Gremlinz's "Bloom", the german producer gives you a sneak peak of what rough underground Drum & Bass sounds like and brings back a full genre thread back to live, which was presumed to be dead.

che und Kunst anhand von Fossilien (Schädeln / Skeletten / Faustkeilen), Graphismen, Handabdrücken und Höhlenmale-
reien nach. Die Differenzierung von Händen und Füßen durch den aufrechten Gang und die Übertragung von Schneide-,
Reiss- und Schlagfunktionen des Gebisses durch den Gebrauch von Werkzeugen auf die Hände sind nur die ersten Stadien,
die die enge Verknüpfungen zwischen Werkzeug und Sprache, Hand und Gesicht, Geste und Wort begründen.
„Die Hand hat ihre Sprache, deren Ausdruck sich auf den Gesichtssinn bezieht, das Gesicht hat seine Sprache, die an den
Hörsinn geknüpft ist – die Geste interpretiert das Wort, und dieses wiederum kommentiert den Graphismus.“
Die Cuica ist eine brasilianische Reibetrommel, verwandt mit Brummtopf, Löwengebrüll und Waldteufel. Der Variabilität
ihrer klangfarblichen Möglichkeiten – vor allem ihrer Ähnlichkeit zu (Tier)stimmen – steht die Schwierigkeit gegenüber,
diese zu kontrollieren.
