MATT MEREPORT - How Delightful, A Pox !

2/3 of us now reside in Manchester and 1/3 in Leicester.


We formed three years ago after discovering a mutual love of warm cans of lager in the back of nightclubs with sticky floors. 

We play a mix of Indie Rock, Post-Punk, Psychedelia, Shoegaze, Soul, plus whatever we feel like...

various funk and soul bands....

Matt Mereport emerged from the Manchester ship canal to set up home on a small wooded northern hilltop. Armed with a guitar, voice and electronics he creates what he refers to as “music” though many disagree with this tag. Sometimes it’s heavily electronic, sometimes it’s heavily acoustic. Sometimes it’s heavily weighted. It tends to change from day to day. Much like his socks.
