Dream Awake

Blond by Frank inspired this. I play it front to back at least once every week. It will always be something special to me. A memory fragment almost locked in time. It's got a double meaning to it at times because it's got so much going on, its autobiographical but also philosophical while being melodic and cohesive. It feels like growing up. It tells a story about the way love is inseparable from pain. I think that's why most people see it as beautiful and sad at the same time. It obviously didn't make sense the first time I heard it but as I kept on listening throughout the years, it made sense. The lyrics are clearly personal but it's not like you know what he's actually talking about.  To me, it's one of the best pieces of art ever made. I wept to it in my sleep not so long ago and came up with this :)
