M|XO10 (10 YEARS OF MIXOLOGY)

For the past decade, we at Mixology have built an electronic music promotion which is one of the most revered in the East of England, attracting world class DJs to headline every month in Peterborough.

Previous headline artists include the Brit Awards nominated duo Bicep, Patrick Topping, Matthias Tanzmann, Tensnake, Franky Wah, as well as BBC Radio One DJs B.Traits and Danny Howard.

During the past 10 years we have curated in excess of one hundred events that have been regularly featured in local and national press (The Guardian, Mixmag, BBC Radio Cambridgeshire & BBC Radio One) including the spectacular 1,200 attended Mixology Warehouse event at Peterborough Arena, which is still reminisced by Peterboroughians as one of the best events hosted in the city.

Gok Wan MBE is amongst the most respected and recognisable personalities across media and fashion, with award winning presenting on TV, critically acclaimed books and more recently, creating the Isolation Nation movement, whereby during the lockdown period of 2020, using his DJing and passion for uplifting and uniting people, Gok took to live streams to give his legion of followers, comfort escape and sanctuary during difficult times.
Channelling his love of soulful, uplifting house, Gok used 2020 to press forward his foray into the music artistry, teaming up with up-and-coming producer Craig Knight and UK song writing and singing legend Kele Le Roc to release an up-to-date energy filled rendition of ‘Let Me Be Your Fantasy’. Gok rounded off a fast-moving 2020 by releasing his ‘Isolation Nation’ compilation, curated, and mixed by him, on world renowned house label Defected Records, preselling over 3000 copies leading to a subsequent Volume 2 compilation and releasing his first solo release ‘Right Direction’ on his newly minted Isolation Nation Records in 2021.
As the world opened up, Gok seized the opportunity to unite his Isolation Nation family further, with a national tour of venues, beginning at a sold-out Brixton Electric London and subsequently seeing capacity crowds gather in Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle and Glasgow all the way down to Torquay. This incredible movement was buoyed by Goks own touring, visiting numerous festivals and events, leading to him performing at the Glade arena Glastonbury, Pride London, Bestival and in the main room at Amnesia Ibiza to rapturous crowds, as he released the euphoric ‘All Night Long’ single with Kumora featuring Kevin Haden, which to date has been heard on ITVs Love Island and enjoyed a top 40 hit position on itunes.
Looking ahead, Gok plans to open up the Isolation Nation brand further to the hundreds of thousands of people reached by his streams, with the hope to unify all the people touched by his message, in the live event space, as well as spreading his love of music further and wider.

For the love of house!

Drew has been DJ'ing for around 12 years, his passion and motivation has never been stronger. In that time, he has always spun house music. He took his inspiration from watching DJs chop and change the music sending the crowd into ecstasy at all nights raves. Drew began on what he could afford and that was an old pair of Soundlab belt drive turntables and a rusty Citronic mixer. Nowadays its a couple of midi controllers and Traktor Pro.

Drew used to work abroad DJ'ing in Malia, Crete during 2006 & 2007, where he used to warm up for the Hed Kandi DJs on the beach and the after parties. Working other numerous bars and clubs.

Drews style can only be described as all things HOUSE. Influences from many styles and sub-genres are incorporated into his sets. Whatever the sounds, he always incorporates the true foundation of what house music was born upon.

Duende -  Comes from inside as a physical/emotional response to art. It is what gives you chills, makes you smile or cry as a bodily reaction to an artistic performance that is particularly expressive. A heightened sense of passion and emotion.


Duende are Jade Trixie White and Adam Woolfe. They met in June 2013 and their love for Deep house/Nu disco created sparks instantly. They began playing B2B sets at local venues in September 2013 and have since played at events such as Contradisco in Northampton, where they will be returning on the 29th March, and District 39 in Milton Keynes. Duende are keen to continue broadening their musical horizons in the near future.


Jade first started playing with SAS soundsystem in 2010 and latched onto the underground scene until she joined the all female concept The Dirty House Wives. Jade has also played internationally, adding sets in India and Tunisia to her ever growing repertoire.


Adam first started mixing UK Garage as a teenager, after being handed down Technic 1210's and countless vinyl's from his father. He then made the transition to Deep House after spending the majority of his weekends over the past few years partying in the house scenes best known clubs up and down the country.
