I was in Italy during Oct 2024. I was on a bus tour up the Amalfi Coast and our driver kept playing romantic Italian songs. This one caught my attention for it's heartachingly gorgeous melody in its original ballad form. I don't speak Italian but the song just stuck with me regardless of what I was hearing at that time (I've since translated the lyrics). This mix takes the BPM up a lot so his vibrato sounds unreal - which I suppose it is LOL. Ballads are always a fun challenge and this proved to be as well but I'm happy with the outcome. Earlier this month (Jan. 2025), I read Taylor Dayne's autobiography. While reading it, I kept digging into her catalogue. Her third album, 'Soul Dancing', grew more intriguing to me the more I played and re-played songs from it. Rather underrated, if you ask me. However, if you read her book, it sheds light on some road blocks she hit trying to get it released (label issues). In its original form, 'LSTNT' is a stunning mid-tempo pop/R&B track. Here, I punched it up making it danceable. Track is not being monetized.
