Simul is a London based DJ collective that brings you a unique perspective and sound on the UK rave scene while keeping it confined to the classic culture of dance music. 

Our DJs draw inspiration and influence from all aspects of electronic music including : Minimal, House, Garage and Techno. 

Each one of our selectors has a slightly different style and tone that reflects their music taste and knowledge. 

Together we are Simul, at the same time, together, at once, simultaneously.

A label and platform where we keep the allure alive with a more mysterious approach to Electronic Music’s spectrum of experimental sound. Focusing less on the artists name and letting the music speak more for itself.

Emerging from the vibrant East London electronic music scene, Josh Smith is quickly establishing himself as a rising talent within the Rominimal and Microhouse realms.
As both a producer and DJ, Josh blends the stripped-back, groove-laden sound of Eastern Europe with his own signature style, characterized by moody, ambient textures, organic percussion, and driving, raw basslines. His carefully curated sets and productions channel dark, rhythmic undertones, creating a perfect balance between minimalism and energy.

With releases on prominent Romanian labels like Carpathian Sounds, PhonicHouse1, and The Lab, Josh has gained recognition for his distinctive sound, alongside guest mixes for well-regarded platforms such as Zebra Records and Outpunkt Records. His ability to weave deep, immersive soundscapes has made him a sought-after artist in the underground scene.

Recently, Josh has shifted focus towards building his own brand and label, flurt, which explores a more mysterious and experimental edge of Minimal and Microhouse, pushing boundaries while staying rooted in the genre’s core elements.
