i was already considering buying him because my friend loves his voice but doesnt do vocal synth stuff, but then i heard this song and i had to cover it with him, so i bought him
i kinda made him sing too high for his range but eh, i still like it
but abusing tension on him kinda makes him sound like ninezero here and there fhuijdko
its not bad tho
anyway
mixing this was a nightmare, i just couldnt get it right for the longest time, but some last-minute tweaks made it sound good enough imo
will def use kevin again

i first got into vocal synths in 2008, and it has persisted as a huge interest of mine present day! i only began making my own covers in late 2018 though, when i recorded my first UTAU voicebank, Cyrus V (note: many of my very early works are unlisted or private now, some are still in my playlists though!). i also dabbled in SynthV R1 with Genbu early on as i learned how to tune and mix covers.
these days, i often use my utau VB, Visp Verity, as well as friends such as Boophis M.P. and Utakawa Rio!
