Finally releasing a bootleg of Bass Slut!

Earlier this week, I was reading a thread about hardcore tracks that really make people emotional, and it got me thinking. At the time, I happened to be listening to possibly my favourite happy hardcore track of recent times, the incredible "Chasing the Sun" by Jakka-B with Fracus & Darwin on the remix. There are tracks from the hardcore scene that have made me introspective, made me cry, made me sing with joy at the top of my lungs, and when I considered it, I don't think I'd ever done a vocal happy hardcore mix.

So, I went back over the last 20 years or so, found my favourites that mean something special to me. That brought back memories from what I call my second stage of hardcore raving in the mid 2000s, along with some from the early 2010s, and of course I had to include the latest track from Jakka-B, Fracus & Darwin too. As I expected, Gammer and Darren Styles were to feature heavily here heh, so respect to them!

I decided to think of this like a mixtape / mix CD to my wife and friends, and those I care about.

So here's possibly my first and last vocal hardcore mix, sent with love. I hope it brings you happiness, no matter if you're singing in the car, in the shower, or just mouthing the songs under your breath with a smile on your face while on your packed train home from work. I hope one day we get to sing these together on the dancefloor. Enjoy.
