Gatecrasher Birmingham’s 20TH BIRTHDAY, THE WARM UP: PART 1 on August 10th boasted an unforgettable atmosphere and exactly what I live for! The night was full of open-minded clubbers who wanted to feast on 2 hours of the latest trance delicacies that I had to offer (sprinkled with a select few, memorable tunes over the years to add to the 20th anniversary sentiment). Every time that I raised my head to look out across the dance-floor, all I could see in front of me was a sea of hands in the air...epic!!

THE LAST EVER SLINKY!!! Try saying that to yourself without getting a little sentimental. What an amazing night which was experienced by all who attended SLINKY CLASSICS - THE SEND OFF. It really was an honour being asked to play, especially after having had so much involvement with this truly cosmopolitan, clubbing brand over the years. These range from playing on Friday nights at the Bournemouth Opera House (now the O2 Academy) to their phenomenal world tours - a real testament to the unique club culture which was rife at the time and to what SLINKY had achieved globally!! :)  

There's no question of a doubt that the mother of all parties was witnessed by all who attended the O2 Academy on Saturday 5th October 2013. Here's my contribution to mark the 16 glorious years of SLINKY!!!

GC20 was absolutely phenomenal!!!! It was a real pleasure to be finishing up the 20th Anniversary festivities after the legendary, Paul Van Dyk!!!!! Trance lineups like what was experienced at GC20 do not come up at a blink of an eyelid. Let us not forget all the other superb DJs who made such a valued contribution to supporting GATECRASHER on this momentous occasion - Mauro Picotto, Ferry Corsten, John O'Callaghan, Marco V, Matt Hardwick, John Kelly, Riley & Durrant, JFK & Akira Kayosa!!! :)
