Mayan Warrior is the result of a collaborative project that has united artists, craftsmen, photographers, designers, technologists, architects and musicians from Mexico City and Northern California. 

The project’s original intent was to present to the world the incredible ascent of contemporary Mexican electronic music while paying respect to the deep and ancient sources from which that visual and auditory culture had grown.


Both light and sound are curated by some of the world’s most prominent artists to transport participants to the very origins of the culture – and to a new understanding of contemporary electronic expression.

AND YES: Mayan Warrior is driven from Mexico City to the playa – and back – each year. It's a labor of love and we're glad so many people enjoy it.

Pace has been a staple of Sydney’s underground scene for over a decade, playing at many of the city’s most respected clubs and boutique festivals. His travels have taken him from Austria to Ibiza and Guatemala, supporting international artists such as Francesca Lombardo, Alex Niggemann, and Oliver Schories.

Formerly one half of Vagabonds with Eddy Wells, he’s performed at festivals across NSW such as Secret Valley, Neomenia, Skydance, and Return to Rio, hosted sold-out yacht parties headlined by Paris’s own Molly, and appeared for leading underground brands including SASH, Kit Kat, Bodywork, WeLove, The Fan Club, T1000, and Blueprint.

As a co-founder of Naughty Corner, a professional party collective known for creating high-vibe events with house grooves, Pace approaches the dance floor as a space for connection and release.

His sound threads house music with warmth and groove, cheeky edits, rolling basslines, and subtle nods to his UK roots, all crafted to keep spirits lifted and smiles moving.

Jahmoko is a newly formed originals reggae band, founded and formed in Perth, WA Nov 2011. Composed of local and international musicians with the majority originating from Aotearoa, New Zealand.

The meaning behind the name JAHMOKO is “the affinity and love we have for reggae music and Maori culture” (moko being the maori translation for grandchild and also tattoo). They consider themselves the grandchildren of Jah having grown up listening to legends like Bob Marley, Jimmy Cliff, Peter Tosh, Herbs, Dennis Brown, Toots and the Maytals just to name a few. However we are not Rastafarian and we do not practice the religion but we love the music and movement of this ever growing genre, and have given it their own sound. Jahmoko members are family orientated thanks to their upbringing in Aotearoa and their culture, which is what they pride their identity on. Jahmoko’s aim is to share this love with the rest of the world through their own sound of Reggae, RnB, Rock and Hip Hop etc and infuse these influences in their own original way creating the unique sound of Jahmoko.

The Jahmoko LIVE experience is an unforgettable occasion, their presence and performance is so tight so real and so inspirational with songs to entertain, educate and enlighten all. So far they have supported Ardijah, Ria Hall, Paua, House Of Shem, Gramps Morgan, 1814, Foundation and the one and only KATCHAFIRE!

The band has wasted no time in spreading the good vibes all over and with them being well received, August 2012 saw JAHMOKO release an EP Album 'The Journey'. Their EP has been distributed throughout the iwi radio stations in New Zealand and has been rotating in the Top 5 of Radio Tainui, Moana and Maniapoto FM since its release. Also their track “Freedom (acoustic version)” is featured on the “Conscious Uprising” Aotearoa movement compilation album released in NZ 2012. 

Jahmoko is a class A headline act in their own right and are turning ears with loyal followings expanding daily. A professional and cohesive unit ready to make their own mark in the music industry here and abroad, currently unsigned and about to hit the studio to record their first full album.
	
Just when you thought you heard it all along comes Jahmoko with the power and vitality to steer reggae in a new direction.

By definition a Vagabond is a wanderer with no set place. Adopting this as their musical ethos was a natural progression for Pace and Eddy Wells. Embracing their already diverse love of house music has enabled them to truly explore it's possibilities and create a unique soundscape that aims to bring people together.

The schedule continues to fill up for the ever busy Beandip, having his feet set firmly in every facet of his local scene.  Whether you catch him behind the decks commandeering the dance floor or find him behind the scenes steering the ship at ever successful events, one thing is evident; He knows how to curate a good time. Having co-founded Northern NSW based record label  After Midnight Sounds at the start of the year and becoming an integral part of the esteemed Goldcoast rave outfit Camp Paprika, he is having an ever lasting effect on his locality and quickly becoming a staple in the emerging underground dance scene in SEQ and NNSW. He has brought his sound to some of Australia’s best dance floors including; Splendour In The Grass, Falls Festival, Mountain Sounds Festival, Lost Paradise and Rabbits Eat Lettuce and Bohemian Beatfreaks (camp paprika theme camp). 

His passion for the music and love for the scene continues to etch his name further into the foundation of SEQ’s underground dance scene.

He has supported the likes of Claptone, Chris Stussy, Pawsa, John Dimas, Fisher, Rubüke, Silat Beksi, Politics Of Dancing, Butane, Busy P, Boston Bun, Doorly, Detlef, Solardo, Apexape, Louie Cut, Avrosse, Litmus, JoyRide, Indian Summer, Ganz and Colour Castle.
