This track is my imagining of a stream of subatomic particles being accelerated to 3/4th the speed of light along a circular path in a cyclotron and bombarding atoms of various elements to produce radioactive isotopes.

The great Roman Empire stretched over a vast swath of territory from Portugal and Spain in the east to Turkey, Syria, Arabia in the west, and from Northern Africa to the Scottish border. The entire Mediterranean Sea (Mare Nostrum) was surrounded by Roman territory. The empire was united by a common form of government, civil administration, currency, language (Latin), and culture. Acquisition of these vast territories by conquest came at a huge cost in lives. In the end, triumphant Roman legions and military commanders returned to Rome to celebrate victory with a triumphal march through that ancient city that was then, much more magnificent and beautiful than it is today.
