Man, you write some killer songs! And I mean KILLER!!! Heh! Yeah, I like the dark, even if this isn't quite as dark, still, it has that Leonard Cohen poetic darkness all over it. Is human nature good or bad ?  Is nature good or bad ?  Is there any justice in the world ?  These are some of the questions I love to wrestle with in a song.  In "It Will Do What It Wants," I played with the idea that evil is a seperate being that steps in and does what it wants when it wants to.  I think it kind of explains how basicly very good people wind up doing such horrible things,
