Today marks one year since the last (ever?) edition of @waha-festival, where I had the opportunity to play the lovely Aural stage. Even though the rain came just when the first record started playing, it turned out to be one of my favourite moments selecting music, surrounded by friends all huddled together listening to the sound of pouring rain and beautiful songs. Fortunately the whole thing was recorded so I'm glad to have a token from that happy time and to be able to share it with anyone who cares to listen.

Come il canto delle sirene, cullato dagli abissi, emerge per stregare le anime di marinai e naufraghi. Qualcosa di simile accadde, quando Jane Fitz domò natura e corpi sottomettendoli al ritmo  mistico, sciamanico, del proprio set. Il suono che si ribellò alla pioggia sommessa di quel pomeriggio di luglio, per rendere anche noi danzanti infallibili, eravamo un un unico movimento stregato e soggiogato dalla magia di quei vinili.
Senza bisogno di ulteriori presentazioni futili, tronfi d'orgoglio e con un fondo di malinconia: la poliedrica Jane Fitz, e ciò che fu in grado di regalarci al Komorebi Music Festival.

Like a siren song, lulled by the abyss, emerging to bewitch the souls of sailors and shipwrecked Jane Fitz tamed nature and our bodies gave in to the mystical and shamanic rhythm of the set.
The sound rebelled against the drizzle of that July afternoon making us dancers infallible and united in movement, spellbound and beholden to the magic of her records. The multi-talented Jane Fitz needs no further introduction, we proudly present with a touch of melancholy the gift she gave us at Komorebi Music Festival.
