So I just HAD to do this Capital Kings remix, because I love Capital Kings so much, and this song was just TOO GOOD of material to pass up. Although I would have liked to see the winning remix to be officially released (Gotee Records??? hint hint)...So here is my remix. I spent a lot of time working on it, and it's not as good as it could have been if my computer could actually handle my song project (I need a new computer or an upgrade or something)...I had to keep exporting it, then going back in and tweaking it. It was hard and tedious, but I'm pretty happy with the outcome. ENJOY, and may the best remix win!! :) And may God be glorified in it all!

So on this last Capital Kings remix, I was like....hey, I don't really want to just make another remix just the same as I did for the first two rounds. And so I decided to ask eXecutive Decision (soundcloud link below) to collaborate on the remix with me! We both contributed to this, so I can't take credit for all of those amazing dubstep basses you hear--only some of 'em. Anyway, we actually whipped this up pretty quick, so I'm about as surprised as anyone else that it actually sounds good. :) Thanks a bunch, and enjoy!!!

I had multiple people tell me I should enter this remix contest, and although the vocals and song style weren't anything near my normal sound, I thought they were good quality (and great lyrics!!) and good material to work with, so I gave it a shot. This is another one of those "make-it-all-in-one-sitting" remixes. Probably took me about 5 1/2 hours or so. I really like the randomness of all the sounds in this song. It has some serious variety, from "epic" to "funky" to "hip-hoppy" and beyond. So I hope you like it! I sure had a fun time on this unique song!

Anyway, I loved "EVERYTHIN" about the lead single "NUTHIN", so I had to go ahead and remix it. Had to give it my own lil twist, ya know? So I dubstep-ified it and Trap-ified it too, so ya know....I'd say it sounds pretty good now, although it purty much sounds nuthin like the original, (no pun intended). Well many of you may not know who BenJah is, but he's a really awesome Reggae-Rap artist and his voice is really cool. So I actually started this remix a year ago or so, believe it or not, but I didn't get very far with it before I just got distracted with other projects. Well, I recently picked it back up and completely finished it, and I'm VERY happy with the result. It's a heavy reggae, dubstep, trap fusion, with a very swaggy, smooth sound and groove to it. So I hope you enjoy it, as I do. And hey, while I'm here I'll say that there's some pretty cool music in the making right now!!

I have fun remixing my own songs, I gotta say. Kind of crazy how often I do it, actually, haha. But hey, it always sounds WAY different than the original, and I enjoy putting a new spin on it, so what the hecky-lecky.

This one is supposed to be a "Future Bass" remix (that's a genre, FYI). I'm not SUPER familiar with the genre, so if you're really into Future Bass and you say "Hey this isn't TECHNICALLY Future Bass".......well I don't care. Anyway, hope you enjoy this! I kept it relatively stripped-down and simple, and I think that adds to the shock factor when compared to my original mix. Let me know what you think of it! I always like reading y'all's comments. I'm a little late uploading this, but better late than never! A while back, Shinebright asked me to do a remix, and since remixing is one of those things I do, and because I'd seen them in concert like 5 years ago in my local area before they were well-known, I said "absolutely". And here's what happened. Also, it was kinda funny to be working for the second time with Rapture Ruckus's vocals, since I already did a remix for him. Stay tuned later on because Rapture and I may possibly have something in the works for y'all. Maybe. Anyway, here's me talking endlessly. Very unprofessional. Enjoy!

EDIT: My remix got taken down from the contest by Indaba, because I had also uploaded the remix on Youtube and Soundcloud (which apparently is against the rules--I specifically read the rules, but it must have been in vague contract-ese), and although I then took those uploads down and Indaba allowed me to re-upload my remix in the contest, I pretty much lost any chance of winning, since my remix then had no plays and no votes and was lost in a sea of 500+ remixes. Not gonna lie, I'm having a hard time not being mad about it. I think I had a legit chance of winning.
