So on this last Capital Kings remix, I was like....hey, I don't really want to just make another remix just the same as I did for the first two rounds. And so I decided to ask eXecutive Decision (soundcloud link below) to collaborate on the remix with me! We both contributed to this, so I can't take credit for all of those amazing dubstep basses you hear--only some of 'em. "Bitter Tears" has a very interesting mix of emotions in it--from a noble, triumphant sound, to a sad, deep feeling. The song is actually a Christmas song about how Christ came "like a sheep among wolves; to be the hero of the story we've been told". Although it is a Christmas song, it does focus more on the fact that Jesus came to suffer and be hated by mankind--to be trampled on by the very ones he came to save. I hope you enjoy this song as a deep, unique re-telling of the story of our amazing Savior. Merry Christmas!

The original of this song is so amazing that I simply HAD to remix it. I was unable to spend as much time on this as I wanted, so it's not as finished and solid as it would be if I had more time, but I was out of time. So this is what you get. :) Hope it does well in the contest! I went for more of a pretty, soft, Pop-flavored sound. I think one part even has a slightly 80's feel as far as the sound of some of the synths. Let me know what you think of it!

You wouldn’t expect the sound you hear from Matthew Parker, a singer & producer who grew up in rural Michigan, USA. His unique blend of Urban, EDM, and Pop vibes is modern and refreshing, though still sentimental and nostalgic. Taking piano lessons as a kid, Matthew wasn’t really interested in music and hated to practice, but when he found he could create his own melodies and songs, he began to discover his passion for music. It started with jam sessions in the attic with his brothers, which turned into Matthew making songs by himself on the family computer at age 12. It was then that he discovered the magic of music production and was irreversibly hooked. Since then, with over 50 million streams across all platforms and no sign of stopping, Matthew Parker has clearly created a sound and sentiment that resonates with many people.
