So I just HAD to do this Capital Kings remix, because I love Capital Kings so much, and this song was just TOO GOOD of material to pass up. Although I would have liked to see the winning remix to be officially released (Gotee Records??? hint hint)...So here is my remix. I spent a lot of time working on it, and it's not as good as it could have been if my computer could actually handle my song project (I need a new computer or an upgrade or something)...I had to keep exporting it, then going back in and tweaking it. It was hard and tedious, but I'm pretty happy with the outcome. ENJOY, and may the best remix win!! :) And may God be glorified in it all!

Ever since I first heard the original of this song, it was pretty much my favorite Lecrae song. It's just those amazingly catchy and Jaimaican-y vocals by Mali that really get to me, and of course, the rap is phenomenal too! So I just had to do this when I found the acapella for it. I was like "Yeeeeeeeesssssss". So I made it. And I was super happy with how it turned out. It's groovy and has some big bass. I think this might be the cleanest mixing I've ever done. It's really smooth and very wide stereo. Hope you love bangin' that BASS! This is Bass music for Jesus, pumping hard to the limit, y'all!!! Enjoy and feel free to share everywhere. Thanks!

I had multiple people tell me I should enter this remix contest, and although the vocals and song style weren't anything near my normal sound, I thought they were good quality (and great lyrics!!) and good material to work with, so I gave it a shot. This is another one of those "make-it-all-in-one-sitting" remixes. Probably took me about 5 1/2 hours or so. I really like the randomness of all the sounds in this song. It has some serious variety, from "epic" to "funky" to "hip-hoppy" and beyond. So I hope you like it! I sure had a fun time on this unique song!

Some people told me to make more dubstep. So I made more dubstep. And it's kinda cool, though a bit different. Hope you like it!

For the musical nerds: I did some interesting stuff on this track. One thing I did was I stuck a delay on the master track, so it kind of sounds like a cd skip that repeats a few times in a few places in the song. Then at about 2:35 I brought up the delay time so that the pitch sped up to nothing. Kinda weird, but cool.

This has got to be my most professional-sounding dubstep tune yet, and is definitely the song that I've spent the most time perfecting. It took forEVER. I kept working on it until I was pretty happy with the sound, and although it's not perfect, I'd say it sounds pretty pro. :)
