So, I'll bet a lot of you have heard Lecrae's new album Anomaly. It's very, very good. If you don't have it, check it out and you might like it.

Anyway, I loved "EVERYTHIN" about the lead single "NUTHIN", so I had to go ahead and remix it. Had to give it my own lil twist, ya know? So I dubstep-ified it and Trap-ified it too, so ya know....I'd say it sounds pretty good now, although it purty much sounds nuthin like the original, (no pun intended). This track is the product of an idea I had wanted to do for a long time. I wanted to do a dubstep/reggae fusion, with a genuine Jamaican vocalist in it. And I finally got my wish. St. Matthew was awesome enough to agree to work with me, and I had a blast creating this song! It's got some heavy, heavy dubstep growls in it, as well as some dancey beats to go along with the groovy, rough vocals of St. Matthew and I. I think this is one of my favorite of my recent tracks. Some people told me to make more dubstep. So I made more dubstep. And it's kinda cool, though a bit different. Hope you like it!

For the musical nerds: I did some interesting stuff on this track. One thing I did was I stuck a delay on the master track, so it kind of sounds like a cd skip that repeats a few times in a few places in the song. Then at about 2:35 I brought up the delay time so that the pitch sped up to nothing. Kinda weird, but cool.

This has got to be my most professional-sounding dubstep tune yet, and is definitely the song that I've spent the most time perfecting. It took forEVER. I kept working on it until I was pretty happy with the sound, and although it's not perfect, I'd say it sounds pretty pro. :)
