This week we have an absolutely filthy, hard hitting techno mix from Glasgow DJ, Esfi. Be prepared, you’re in for an hour of madness 🤯

Esfi or Esmé to her friends, is part of Scotland’s growing collective, RISE. Formally MDSM, this is Esmé’s first release under her new persona after a clash with an artist of the same name. We love the change and feel honoured to release Esfi’s first mix under her new name. 

Having first started playing with Decks at parties and friends studios Esfi has quickly picked up the craft.  Having spent the majority of the lockdown period behind a set of decks. 

Esfi is already making waves on the Glasgow scene having secured her first mix premiering on Glasgow Brand Tnnlsystm where she provided an hour of hard stomping Techno. She has also been featured on Toxic Warm Up Society, We Are Nothing Records and Rituals Belfast. 

Esfi has big things planned for 2021 so keep your eyes peeled.

Up next, and number 13 on the Mix Series we have no other than the Feed Your Head and FA Presents top man, Ryan Wason.

Ryan, who has been DJ’ing from a young age and throwing massively successful indoor and outdoor parties with some of the biggest names there is to offer and not forgetting some of the up and coming local talent.
He had huge plans for this year but unfortunately like us all, the madness had to be put on hold.

Ryan’s style is more leftfield/electronic ranging from breaks, bleeps, electro, experimental distorted rhythms and bass driven house and that shows in the mix he’s done for us. There is no track list but he’s promised some white label records from his extensive collection 😉.

We are a Dublin based nightlife media outlet and events project that is primarily focused on showcasing talented Irish DJs and producers.

Having had great success thus far we are now looking to branch out and have formed a record label and Youtube channel under the name Talamh Records.

Our vision for the label has stemmed due to the ever-growing, consistent quality of dance music that is currently being produced in Ireland. We would like to aid in showcasing this diversity of talent to as many people who are interested in dance music as possible.

This is so we can further push our collective vision and aim to provide an online hub where Irish artists can be promoted and display their music on a scale that will aim to be recognised nationwide and beyond in the near future.
